How can I have the conversation with him about what he wants for his future?
He wants to do computer things as a carreer he said that in the past - (fair enough so far) but he's not applying for work cause he doesn't want to do a lot of the jobs, long term. I have previously told him that getting a first job is the hardest job to get. If he doesn't take action soon and start actually looking for work and applying for work, I'm worried he will have too big a gap on his CV and then will never work, cause employers won't take on someone if the person has too big a gap on their CV (resume in america, i think?) |

hi @willowtigger - sorry you are having trouble getting your brother to act. It could be that he is not comfortable in social settings like working in an office and interviews.
The idea that came to me is to start out doing some kind of remote work even if it is not paid. I will give you an idea but you or he can do a google search on [the country he is in], virtual computer work [specialty time of programming they know] Here are some in demand programming languages. The most in-demand programming languages in the UK - Netimperative These are not computer jobs per se but are virtual Just a moment... These may require a college degree in Computer Science 32,000+ Programmer jobs in United Kingdom (542 new) Hope this helps @CANDC
