Guys,
I will go on with this topic.
I'm still working in my social therapy exposure the two steps I mentioned in the other thread.

Step one: ask for help. I have no problem in asking for things when I pay for them but it's hard to ask for a favour. I feel like people's time is important enough and I don't decerve they waste it for me.

Step two: interact with a group of people who are managing a conversation. In this case, I'm afraid of disturbing them.

What do you need to improve?

What you say in both questions
Quote:

shows that you do not see yourself in as positive a light as others do, at Psych Central for instance.

You count in my book. You are an important person that I want to reach out to. I am not selling my time, I give it away freely in the hope it will make a difference with one person.

When approaching a group of people it is important to listen and hear what is going on so you know how to relate to them. If you meld into the group you are not disturbing it.

Self-esteem is how we view ourselves. Maybe that could be something to bring up in your work n social therapy. Our own self esteem is the most important part of relating to others. Without it we are going to have a good time relating as equals.

Thanks for your words.
I'm learning, really. My self-steem is pretty high now. But I have to go on working.

I think I am learning a good teaching today. People change. Not only in a negative way, also in a positive way. So, I think is a great hope for us.

Count up to ten before acting. Let my rational brain arises instead of my heart.
