I’ve been diagnosed with this by 3 professionals.

I don’t like talking about this. I don’t know if they were all wrong and it is “just” social anxiety..

I typed out a post. I deleted it. I typed out another post. And deleted it.

And now having typed this out, I feel like deleting this too

I’m guessing that if I do make a post here, nobody with Avpd will give me “advice” like “grow a thick skin” or other helpful ? one liners...

Or a post in big screaming letters which is essentially a one liner and very unhelpful...

I do maybe have some “coping” mechanisms which some with Avpd don’t have.. I developed these to put 10 claws up to the judging, blaming “professionals” in this forest. Their words were so ugly.. and not “only” one “professional”

I try to be kind and not hostile... maybe some see that and my sensitivity as
“weak”. EFF them...

But one of the labelling professionals (irl) claimed I was hostile (to “justify” his abuse )

(Not about anyone on pc)

Thanks to the person who hugged me.. I appreciate it.

It doesn’t appear that I’m likely to receive much support here. Ironic, since the senior clinician I’d consulted for ****kng YEARS insisted I had “severe” avoidant pd. and WHY would I want that?? I’m not insane........

Good luck to the posters here.

(((((Fuzzy))))) the professionals are all so far up themselfs they all need a native guide to find their way out again

My own experience is if someone needs help they don't give a flying ........ you know the rest

Thanks whisper

Sadly I agree with you about the “professionals” in this forest

EFF them

And this is not an invitation for anyone to tell me I’m wrong..

Thanks so much

Thanks for the support from those who aren’t invested in “criteria” and judgments. I doubt if I’ll be “bothering” people here with my diagnosed disorder. I give support and do not feel respected in return. These are MY feelings. It is sad to me how unwelcoming this feels. I doubt if it would feel welcoming to a new person either. MY opinion - not everyone with a diagnosis is The Same.

And of course, some “professionals” make mistakes.

Regards

I have been diagnosed with this. My therapist also said I’m boring. This was not helpful. hugs
