Also, this is supposed to be the 'age of mental illnesses' and Bipolar is just such a cute one with all this creativity and intelligence associated with it, so many artists and authors who reportedly had it, such mysterious highs and lows etc.

Anyway, this humour is just to mask my awful mood as I cannot seem to be able to 'take charge of my bipolar' or my life. My 'zombie phase' has now lasted 10 months and its not going away. Can't exercise (or don't), addicted to caffeineted soft-drinks and other unhealthy stuff, don't wanna go out and the whole works really. All these books talk so sensibly but doing them is a whole different thing. But that's the commitment being talked about I guess...sigh
. I feel like I'm in the exact same position caffeine addicted soft drinks and all I do is work and rush home to lay in bed and sulk . House is a mess and don't enjoy any thing . I'm going to try my first support group this Friday in nyc and hope it leads me in the right direction . At this point there's not much else i can do I'm tired of meds and my out burst and just not having control . Of course I have no friends because of my in balance and disease so I'm hoping to find people that can relate to me and me to them . Thanks and I totally agree it's a known fact that so many geniuses are bipolar manic depressive people and I'm one lol . Me being smart great at my job doesn't make it go away though . Desperate thanks
Hugs from:

Bump for members who may not have seen this. I don't suggest you have to agree with it, but it's been of great help to me and others.

Bipolar for Dummies is a book. I got my copy at Hastings, but you could also go online and get it.
