Feeling confused
I live in the UK and i have a history of Bipolar and i have a situation where its made it difficult to get medication, where should i go to get some medication, because i can't afford medication as my parents won't give me the money. Things at home and with myself aren't getting any easier and i need something temporarily just to make it easier to get by.

Hope someone can help thanks

Jai

Can you go to your pdoc and tell them the situation? This happened to me several months back and they gave me samples to tide me over. Depending on how old you are, could you get the equivilant of Medicaid there?

If you have a medical doctor who is seeing you and doesn't believe that you need meds for your symptoms, perhaps you can find a new doctor. It seems odd that you would not be getting meds for a bipolar condition if you were showing signs of the condition. What symptoms are you having which give you cause to believe that you may need meds? I think your best bet is to give your psychiatrist another chance and if that doesn't work, try another doctor. Try and be very clear as to why you feel you need meds.

Keep us posted and good luck-
