i'm sinking

letter yesterday detailed the ins and outs of my housesale in New Mexico..it comes down to this...i'll get nothing. the profit has been eaten up by fees, legal fees, interest, closing, etc. etc.........i feel so numb and hurt and scared.........mostly scared.......

Oh Pat, that's just rotten. Can you look on the bright side on this one - did you end up losing money on the sale? It's not much consolation if you only broke even, but it could be worse, right?

As long as you didn't end up losing money, that's something positive to look at.

I wish I could come scoop you up and haul you to that Lone Star State with me and we'd just forget reality for a while.

I'm sure sorry to hear that you are stinking. Have you checked your shoes? Once, when I was stinking, it drove me crazy all day. Finally, I found dog crap stuck to my shoe. Another time when I was stinking, I got sprayed by a skunk. Boy was I stinking then! But you'd probably remember if you got sprayed by a skunk. At least you know you're stinking. A neighbor of mine stinks all the time but I don't think he even knows it. Anyway, until the advent of virtual scratch and sniff, none of us know if you're stinking or not. Pretty cool, huh?
