I am just down right he angry. Went to the Pdoc for the 1st time and he told me my meds were all wrong and that I was very much bipolar not just in a depressed state. Felt so hopeful. After just a couple days on new meds...but....it has only gotten worse as time has went on and know I am back to hating my family and being mean. Just talked to Pdoc again on friday I guess I will be calling again tomorrow. He can't take me off everything at once and I know that this all takes time but, my gosh I may hurt somebody or somebody may hurt me soon if I don't get some good drugs very soon.

it can take a long time to find the right med and/or combination of meds for bipolar. try to be patient. that said, don't stay on something that's making you worse & it's good you're in communication with your pdoc. he'll advise you how to get off the one that's making you worse & suggest which one to try next.
hang in there!

Hang in there Dear... It can really be a long process which probably doesn't make you feel better but as long as you keep being honest with yourself and with the pdoc, it'll go much smoother. It's really hard to go through and I'm sorry you're just starting out with it, but stick with it and keep doing what's asked of you and hopefuly you'll find something that works in only a few attempts. That being said, realize that most medications you start won't even start working in your system for several weeks. Again, sorry you're going through this and I hope that you find something that helps you out soon!
