I just filed my appeal for SSD - and yes, I felt the same way you did when I was Denyed. I got a lawyer who is going to help me. They said that I definately met all the criteria (SP) for receiving SSD. They only ask for a persentage and a max amount of my first check - if I get denied again, they collect nothing. To me it's worth the help. I just can't deal with it all alone. I'm married and my husband is okay with a law group who specializes in this sort of thing helping me out. The max amount they would collect is $1,600.00 - I have a lot more than that coming to me.
Even if you have to use an extra sheet of paper tell them everything, being very descriptive, and make sure you get a letter from you doctors/psychiatrist/therapist to send along with your appeal.
I wish you the very best - good luck!!

I was thinking about what we had gone through as for options to get legal help... you can do a website search for lawyers in your area that work pro bono or will help you for a small fee, based on your income, too.

Definitely something to check out.
