Last Friday I was walking home from school late because I had a rehearsal for GCSE drama, and a bus drove past me and I saw this massive face in the window,( this sounds incredibly stupid, I know) about as large as the window, and I got so freaked out by actually seeing something that wasnt real (not the actual thing) and I crossed the road really fast, and then I went to wipe my eyes because I started crying and my coat sleeve smelt of my grandparents house (who both died last year and the year before) and that freaked me out even more, and I got so paranoid that I imagined everyone else was looking at me from cars and people who were walking past, and I got this head twitch thing that I always get when Im stressed or emotional (Does anybody else get that? Like a shiver that kinda forces your head to the side) and I kept stumbling and got in a real state, and Ive heard stuff before, like creaking noises (like footsteps) when no one is home, and beeping and things. Has that ever happened to you? And was I overreacting? sorry but Im sot sure, nothing like that has ever happened to me before x

I have heard things and seen shadows of things. I still don't know if they were there or not and if there was a real explanation.
I definitely get paranoid often. I think it is a part of the illness and could signal that a change in meds is necessary if it keeps up. I hope you are feeling better now and are safe. Last edited by BNLsMOM; Feb 28, 2010 at 08:59 PM. |

I've gotten paranoid before - it usually happens when I'm super stressed. I don't like to leave my house because I think everyone is looking at me and judging me. I never mentioned this to my p-doc, and I think I better on my next visit. You should mention all of this to your T or p-doc on your next vistit, too. I hope you start to feel better soon. Hug!

I have had small episodes similar to what you have describe. The hustle and bustle of a commute can be a serious overload on my senses and trigger all kinds of weird emotional and sensory responses. The best thing for me to do is stop everything I am doing and focus on getting my senses about me again. I hope you are feeling better now. Shalom.

You have described something that i do almost daily. All i iknow is that it makes me feel so crazy and scared. I tell my doc and it's usually just "lets up your dosage and see if that helps".......well that doesn't help and i've been doing this since i was little. sometimes i look at it as a gift because the alternative is far too scary. hang in there, maybe we're the cool ones.

All I have is the old saw, "Been there, call your pdoc." It's really important, though. Make sure you do. Huggs and hope you feel better soon.

I totally understand the use of the word crazy. It is how I feel sometimes too. Glad you are safe.
