  hi, have been a menber since last year, and when i start a new thread,its like i have an internet oder!! Dont get many replies at all. and i read other peoples threads and see the benifit of having others support for issues i/we have, but it seems im an outcast?? threads are lousy?? im boring??  i absolutely enjoy the companionship that is here, i have social anxiety and for that reason i dont make friends easily,or get out and socialize, and i dont know, it just makes me feel .....strange....I hope this isnt coming across as insulting, maybe im being paranoid-or whiny??? any suggestions on how to made friendships here would be greatly appreciated!!  take care......i sound so needy, sorry for that

Hi *hugs* I havent been a member long so am not sure about your other posts and why you didnt get many replies... but I also suffer from anixety (general) as well as BP and have said the exact same thing when I was with a self group group for anxiety. Maybe ppl thought u had the answers you needed so didnt reply anymore than what was there? I dont know but I do know I was told I was paranoid (which didnt help) when I said the same thing at my last group. So, I hate to say it, but I do think you are being a little paranoid lol *BIG HUGS*

((((((allme)))) wheh, thats a sigh of relief.... i just might be a LITTLE paranoid, not sure, well its great that you are a member, maybe i could benifit from therapy as well, seems so invasive..which makes me cringe to think about disclosing all the oddness of my personality!!!!

I'm sorry your feeling pushed aside, and it's okay no need to apologize, ti's good to voice your concerns! *takes a big whiff* and as far as I"m concerned you don't stink I've been a member at PC for two years now (formerly silversparrow) but I haven't been posting in the bipolar forum or reading it until this past few months, I mostly lurk around Surviors or PTSD, since I'm new to my bipolar diagnosis I sometimes feel like I don't have a lot of helpful information just hugs to give out. ((leah)) sometimes I feel ignored too. I think some posts are hard to respond to for whatever reason. Its not that you are boring. I have read everything you've written, but when I'm having a hard time, I have a hard time being helpful too. I'll try harder to at least give you a little hug when I see you reaching out. Sorry you had to feel this way, but I am proud of you for speaking up for yourself.

Leah I'm sorry you've felt your posts are sometimes overlooked by many members here! I've only lately started coming here again, and I don't think I have come across your posts before, but I do think it just depends on maybe who is online at the time, and things like that. Or just if anyone feels they have anything positive to share. Sometimes people post and I don't really have anything worthwhile to add to a thread, maybe if I can't relate to how they feel, or don't know about something.
Basically I'm just trying to say I'm sure nobody has ever looked at your thread and not replied because it's boring! There will be lots of other reasons. And lots of threads have few replies, also. I think it can just depend. Gosh I'm rambling. I hope you do feel comfortable here and not too worried when posting threads. It sounds like people like you here ... but I can relate cos I've sometimes been worried about not getting replies. I often think I might come across a bit of a know it all on the boards cos I tend to ramble and say anything that pops in my head!
