I was recently put on Ultram, an non narcotic pain reliever, but it acts like a narcotic. I was wondering if that will have any affect on my bipolar medication. I take Geodon and Lamictal. Thanks for the replies in advance.

If you call the pharmacy they should know. Did the doc who prescribed it know about the other meds you are on? I would think that they would have checked before prescribing it. I hope you find out, and I hope the pain meds help!!

The pdoc didn't prescribe it my family doctor did. They have a list of my medications so I would have thought he checked. I took them today and so far so good. And yeah you are right, the pharmacy would have caught it if there was going to be a problem. I didn't think of that when I asked the questions...I am blonde so you have to ignore me sometimes lol.
