I did a lot of cleaning around the house and took Apollo for his daily 2 mile walk. I might take him for another 2 miles this evening.

Oh, I wondered what this thread was about. I guess it should have been obvious with the title. What I've been doing for the past couple of months is walking indoors. I walk or jog a pattern for 10-25 minutes a day, usually 20. I don't like to go outside or deal with weather, so it works for me. My T says it sounds like a prison yard, but I try not to let him get to me. He wants me to get out more. I want to stay in more. At least I'm exercising, right? And regularly too.

I worked in my yard, doing my usual, hacking, chopping, and pulling ivy for 5 hours! Plus a mile walk with my dog. Tomorrow it will be more walking and ivy killing!

Then it is supposed to rain for 2 days again. My back will thank me.

Exercised 30 minutes this morning before getting ready for work. I've started writing down everything I eat to keep myself honest. Had a slimfast for breakfast.

I really meant to run today and get some good exercise, instead I started reading a book around 11am and next thing I knew it was 2:30pm! I feel asleep for most of the day. So much for running

Hi I'm new - this is a great idea
It is really encouraging to me to see what you can do, and also nice to know that I'm not the only one that sometimes can't make it out of the house

At the moment I'm trying to limit chocolate (and other junk food) - so far so good this am.

In a couple of days I might try to get walking

Keep it up guys, you are amazing

Got out of bed and cleaned my house some. Kept myself from being rude to AC technician (he was rude first!). Was supposed to call to repair stupid washing machine but I felt really panicky and depressed so I went out and walked around the mall instead.

Cried.

I lost 70lbs last year and would be more than happy to share how I did it. I'ts a boring diet, high in protein, but doesn't stick to any "TV" diets. The weight fell off...BUT it takes dedication!!
