I asked because I have Narcolepsy. I have actually heard of people being treated for bipolar using Nuvigil and Provigil. I'm hoping to get approved with their patient assistance program so that I can use the medicine. I can't afford it right now.

I strongly suggest seeking alternative therapy to medication for your sleep issues. Yoga is amazing and I've heard of something called Qigong (a chinese system) that is really great for mentally preparing yourself. I've never tried it, but I've heard many good things.

Also, how is your diet? Your diet can greatly affect you. I assume if you aren't sleeping well at night, you are sleepy during the day. Do you consume much caffeine? This can cause you sleep issues at night.

I've learned a lot about sleep from having Narcolepsy, but I am far from healthy when it comes to sleep. I try my hardest, but like tonight I was exhausted from the day and didn't have a nap so I went to sleep at 10. I woke up at 1:30 and it's going to be hard to get myself back on track.
