So it's been a week on Topamax and while I'm not at one hundred percent I'm definitely not scraping the bottom like I was. I'm leaving the house, actually being social, sorta doing housework and starting to feel re-interested in my old hobbies.

External situations are still massively stressful but I'm about to go out for the third time in three days which is like more than I have in the last three months combined.

Being the naughty rogue that I sometimes am I'm ramping up a little faster than i'm supposed to but so far my biggest side effect is tingling in my feet. Today I was sitting on my parents back porch sitting cross-legged in a rocking chair balancing a glass of wine, two weeks ago on Geodon if I could even have made the drive I would have been laying on the couch drinking out of an unbreakable plastic sippy cup. I really missed being me. Yay for effective medication!

Glad to hear you're feeling better- just one suggestion, please try easy up on the alcohol especially while you are just starting out on meds. You will get a much more accurate idea of how the meds are helping you

In general alcohol is a bad idea for beepers; especially in combination with meds. And please don't increase dosages faster than your pdoc recommends...they have good reason to increase them slowly. Topamax can cause kidney stones so it is very important to drink a lot of water with this medication. Take care!

There are so many good reasons not to drink and drive but I am literally to anxious to even consider the idea so it was half a glass with dinner. I thought I drank crazy amounts of water before but no kidding! I've had kidney infections before so I think I am going to notice faster than most people might if there is a problem. Anyway thanks guys!
