First off, what makes you think you have Bipolar disorder? Have you ever talked to a p-doc abut it? If you are concerned about it, I would def get a dr's. opinion. BD is a very serious illness and the sooner you get diagnosed the better. I was diagnosed as Bipolar I four years ago and it has been really rough. I wish I would have went to a p-doc sooner because I had all of the symptoms and I knew that something was wrong with me ( it seems like you realize something is going on with you) so I could have got help sooner. I hope everything works out and feel free to PM me if you want or need to! Good luck!

Schedule an appointment with your general doctor and see if you can get a referral to a psychiatrist. Make sure you take with you any literature that may make you think you are bipolar.

I second Skully. A pdoc or psychologist are the ones that can usually diagnose you

I third Skully. I received my diagnosis by a psychiatrist. Setting up an appointment with one, or getting a referral to one, would be your best bet.
