W is for Water.... long hot bubble baths, swiming in the sea, watching the waves and water by the beach, lake, river... listening to the rain curled up with a book and hot choc... and save the whales... (or is that only a big thing in Australia)

Z - zzzzzz's as in good sleep. I have both sleep apnea (CPAP machine out of action right now) and Insomnia, different conditions that togther make life and being a person recovering from Bipolar and other illnesses damn hard. But last night I had a GOOD sleep and boy, is it amazing to feel like what it is like to have a good sleep and the effect, especially on my mental state. Yey for sleep!!!!

Thanks everyone who participated in this thread. It was great for me to remember things that I'm thankful for..........so would you like to do it again???

I got this idea from a book I'm reading. The author suggests going through the alphabet and naming one thing you are thankful for starting with each letter of the alphabet. Not sure if people are interested in this, but I thought I'd try.

A - Airplanes......boy do I ever wish I could go on a trip!

My Car. Couldn't get to and from work or dr's appointments without it. It's 11 years old now, but still runs great.

I'm thankful for my dogs. They are faithful companions even though they are stubborn at times.

Energy - the bodily and mental type, but also the energy of the Universe and Nature, which I am trying to cultivate as my spiritual beliefs.

I'm thankful for my Mom. She's been very supportive from the start when I first told her of my diagnosis.
