Hello fellow forum goers.

Anyone else feel, when off meds i guess, cycle so fast, it seems that every few days? My T suggested she noticed three distinct mood swings in a 48 hour time frame with me once. (Again, i share an online journal w/ T) But we've narrowed down a 4-7-day swing schedule for me.

Anyone else have rapid, or ultra rapid cycling?

All the time. Sometimes three times in one day. I usually crash at the end of each day. Up and down, up and down. Some days are better than others. Sometimes, moods stick for a few weeks and then change. I'm very rapid cycling most of the time, however. Good luck to you!

Unmedicated... and yes, I tend to cycle somehow fast, my episodes usually don't last longer than week and mostly it's matter of days, even hours.

I am arapid cycler but not as fast as you aretaliking about. Iget about for cycles a year. Won't try without meds due tothe horribleness of it all. I am a lot better on lithium, quetiapine, lamotrigine, and strangely levothyroxine. The levothyroxine is not for thyroid but to help lithium work better.

Yea, I always crash at the end of the day; i just feel miserable for the entire evening after work. Over the weekend, i tend to be a bit more stable, and i'm either up or down.

Totally understand the rapid cycling; when I first started the Lamictal, I was up and down several times a day, sometimes switching so fast it was unreal. Much better now - can anticipate the changes and don't have so many.

Yes, I cycle very often. Sometimes within a few hours, but usually over a few days

For example, i was fine all day yesterday; a little high actually for about 2 hours. Then I crash at work, and i'm super tired and feeling terrible. Then 1 hour later, i'm fine again. I go home from work feeling fine. Then within 30 minutes, i'm feeling terrible again, and i start to cry. i rush to my sister's place, screaming at traffic lights and other drivers to "get the effffff out of my waaay" and i cry on her shoulder for a good 10 minutes straight. and then, an hour later, i'm kinda fine again, but still feeling generally low, but not to an extreme.

i feel like i'm in continual flux.
