Well, to update on the friend thing, we're still friends. We met in person, and apologized. Need to smooth it over though still, and talk about some stuff.

But, i also met a rather new an interesting person that I dig a lot, and we're arranging a meet up. So either it's this giving me a high, or the drugs have finally stablized my mood and i'm back to my cheery ways.

either way... i aint complaining.

i just hope the lamitcal doesn't give me that rash that it apparently causes in rare cases. It's at least helping in conjunction with the lithium in manageing the depression.

Yea, we're doing 25mg for two weeks, then 50mg for two weeks, etc. i think pdoc said he wanted to get me up to 200mg slowly. I may be mistaken.

Sounds like a slow titration, which is good.

Have you just started the meds? I found that in the first week of being on Lamictin my mood improved drastically, and thereafter the results were negligible. Then my pdoc kept me on 100mg, which is really too low.

Glad to hear things in your life are going well!

I started on this past weekend. And my mood did go up, and stable for a few days. Plus someone walked into my life, and I like them a lot.

But today, i have been obsessing over negatives like rejection from out of nowhere. maybe it's the fact i got 4 hours of sleep last night. But i was just crying for no reason, and i feel really terrible.

i hate how this makes me feel; i hate drugs. i don't want to play pharmacy for my pdoc anymore. this is like the 6th drug, and none of them have worked for more then a week.

I never got the rash and I take 200mg. While it can happen, it is considered a rare side effect as long as it is tirated properly.

Keep talking to your doc about any side effects that come up. Like I mentioned - I noticed the biggest improvement a week or so after I started the meds, and then I think I went back to where I was i.e. not helping me much. I now have to take an anti-depressant to keep my mood up
