go to bed to pills wake up to pills. Tonight before I took my handful of pills I sat there crying...knowing that I has no choice but to take them. I am bipolar I and without meds I am psychotic. I am a thyroid cancer survivor and I have no thyroid. Without pills I get very sick. When they took out my thyroid it was stuck to my parathyroids and they took then too - now I have hypocalcemia and extremely low vitamin D so I live on pills and I always will. I hate this so much and I cry because of it just had to let this out tonight. I want to be normal and not take pills anymore. Sorry just sad.

I think when we get to a point like this that we just have to accept what is normal for us, not normal for the rest of the world, or realizing that there may be others whose normal is worst than ours, like having to take 2 hands full of pills just to live a normal life.

I understand your feelings however. I hate taking pills & will do anything not to have to.....but when there is NO CHOICE, I tend to come to that understanding & acceptance of me & my normal. Know it's hard, but definitely helps is dealing with life.

Hope you feel better soon about your life.

Eskie is so right. It's hard to accept ourselves, but it's very healing and actually freeing to realize that we are who we are.

i can agree with u i hate taking a handfull of pills twice a day. The bad thing for me is that i take saphris and u have to let that disolve under your tongue if that isnt a constant reminder how u cant live without them i dont know what is. i hop it gets easier for you. I guess we have to learn it is part of life. ugh!

you're strong to have survived so much. I know the pills suck and it can feel like every day revolves around "time to be medicated" but you're so much more than that.
