Oh, objtrbit... that's a terrible story. It must be so much worse to have a familiy member do that to you... and at such a young age. My granny had a similar experience when she was about three or four, the local "school marm" passed her over the fire (a superstition at the time that "síogs" would be driven out by fire.) She had a bald patch for the rest of her life.
You think that kind of thing doesn't happen anymore... but it happens more than you'd realise. I hear terrible stories of children from African countries being "excorcised" to death.
