All of the above. I spoke with T already today and I took my PRN, trying to use my DBT skills, and breathing.

I have a grouchy kid, and two dogs that are going crazy because it is raining so we can't go out and blow off steam. I don't want to be in public right now because I feel like it would be too overstimulating.

A few minutes ago, I was in the kitchen and I felt like the world was coming to a pin point and was spinning out of control. It is a little better now that I have sat down to write, but I want to take more Seroquel because of this anxiety, but I have taken as much as I am allowed to per doctor orders.

Oh i know that feeling, well, BNLsMOM. Just sit down for a few, and take it one step at a time. Sit the kiddo down with a good book, and maybe dig up a rain jacket, and take the doggies for a stroll. Just take it one step at a time. Cant do it all at once... Take care! *hug*

I don't suppose you have Ativan? I'm out right now with the kids at borders just reading so I can read your posts.

Have you been manic lately? Or do you think you're moving that direction?

No ativan, I can't take Benzos because they make my anxiety worse for some stupid reason. My husband has an old bottle of xanax in his night table, and boy am I tempted to take a few.

I have been like this for days. It is getting to the point that my chest hurts. I might take a few more Seroquel and go to bed to try to get rid of this. The dogs are finally quiet.

Hey BNL'sMom. Wow, do I know how you're feeling. Try not to take your husband's meds, for one thing, you say they're old... meds don't stay useable forever, they might do some damage. Regarding the seroquel... does your script allow you to take extra if needed? I'm on a set dose, I didn't know you could take extra when under duress.

You posted an hour ago... how are things now?

I didn't take anything. I just convinced my son to climb into bed with me and watch TV while I slept.

The way I have my Seroquel set up is that I take my set dose at night, and I am allowed another 25mg as needed once during the day as an anti anxiety since I can't use benzos. I made that decision after I ended up in the hospital because I was going wacky on klonopin. The more I took, the worse I felt and the more the doctor told me to take until I couldn't stand it. I don't go to that doctor any more.

So today I woke up in an anxious state so I took my PRN first thing with my morning meds.

Not totally better right now, aniety still brewing under the surface, but not in a blind panic right now.

It is like a monster living in my chest.

We have a couples session with our T tomorrow to discuss some heavy stuff. That is, unless I have a heart attack first.
