I feel like my life is spiraling out of control. I'm behind in every single one of my classes and I have no time or energy to fix it... I just want to know that everything will work out. It sure doesn't feel like it.

laur88. Is there a counselor at school that you could speak to? Sometimes that helps me put things in perspective.

Hey,

I hope the counselor can help. Hugs to you. I know how it can be. The title of your post caught me. I myself feel caught in a spiral and like I am constantly trying to claw my way back up.

Hi, yes
I send you tons of support and good energy.
I hope the counselor works out.

My brother when through a simlar situation. He came close to losing the semester. He spoke to a counselor who helped him talk to his professors about what was going on and believe or not your situation is not uncommon. They were able to work with him and adjust the scheduling of assignments so that he could manage. Some even held his grade until he turned the assignment after the semester ended so he would do well.

He told me they were supportive. If they see that you are being honest sincere and putting effort to remedy the situation, they respect that and see that you are being responsible just by taking those steps. And positive action and feelings for you by just trying can help you feel better. You're making the good effort. Breathe...this is not the end of the world, it happens all the time with students.

I hope the counselor helps laur88. In the meantime try to do something that normally would bring you joy or you find relaxing (even if it's some deep breathing). Keep us posted.
