I have been medicated for 3 years and I have NEVER purposefully missed a dose, ever. Once in a while I forget, or it's too late at night and I can't take them or I won't wake up the next morning.

Yesterday, I truly forgot. I woke up late and was in a rush to get out the door in the morning, so I missed my morning dose. Then in the evening I went grocery shopping and I can't take my meds before because I was driving (I can't drive on them) and I forgot to take them after.

Well, today....I took both doses for today and flushed them down the toilet, so my husband wouldn't know I skipped them.

WTF am I doing???

I was already getting a little bit out of control in the past week or so. Why am I letting it all go?

Have you've been concerned about how the meds were working for you? Sometimes when we do drastic things it's because we want and or need a change. I would suggest starting your meds again and make an appointment with your P-doc on Monday to discuss possible med options.

I agree with blueoctober. Definitely get back on your meds before you spiral downwards. Let us know how you are doing.

it is best that you get back on your meds so things won't totally get out of control for you and yes it is a good idea to call your pdoc to make an appt sooner then later and if that can't be done talk to you therapist.

I agree with everyone, just get back on the horse and start taking them again. When I missed a whole day of meds I definitely noticed the difference and now understand why I am on meds.

I understand the temptation, even when meds are working well it gets boring being even keeled all the time. Then I remember how bad the lows are and all the things I can't do if I'm not medicated and I take my pills.

the temptation is always there to go "You know what, these dont work" but you'll know after a few days that they do more than you might think!

Get back on them it'll be for the best

I totally agree with everyone, you need to take your meds. I stopped taking mine for a few weeks last month and I sutre as hell knew about it! I stopped taking them cos I was sick of the weight I'm putting on whilst taking them but not only could I not deal with the withdrawel symptoms I felt like I was going mad, I couldn't think straight and I was more restless and irritable than usul. I was just a mess. It woould be wise to start taking them again and talk to your doc. I'm having my meds reviewed next week and my GP gave me some tablets to help with the weight issue so you should have a chat cos I'm sure they can help solve whatever the problem is. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
