For 2 months straight I had high stress and insomnia, tossed & turned all nite and was extremely frustrated trying to force myself to sleep now I am in own place, verypeaceful lovely apartment and I am always up til 3 or 4 a.m. and it occurred to me today that I fear lying in bed and tossing and turning again so I push myself to stay awake until I cannot keep my eyes open and then I go to bed and nod off right away, no lying there getting irritated, agitated and frustrated, just a theory.

I sometimes fear not be able to go to sleep right away too...I found that the more stable my sleep is; the more stable I am.

I'm the same way too. I have such a hard time sleeping lately, I would just lay in bed for hours trying to go to sleep, but lately I am staying up as late as I can, like you said, until I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore, and I go to sleep right away. Although I do need to try and get back into trying to go to sleep early because it's starting to wear on me
