I woke up this morning with shortness of breath, feeling faint and dizzy.
I went to work as usual, but it escalated, and i totally broke down and had to go to hospital. My Sup.Worker picked me up and i was a mess, i couldnt talk, everything was closing in on me, i was just sobbing in her car, she left me at the hospital where i was sat in a bed for 4 hours, it felt like no time though, i managed to calm myself down whn they told me, that basically i had a bad reaction to the meds i'm on and lowered the dose.
I'm breathing a lot better now, but have a splitting headache and feel very woosy.
It wasnt a mood thing, more of a physical/medical thing.
But it did make me think, i'm never going to have a normal life am i?
now my work know that i'm bipolar, they're being so nice though, saying i should have told them earlier.

I'm feeling much better, but very tired, shower and bed for me tonight!
My SW is brilliant she really is, she got A&E to put me in a small room so i didnt have to sit in the waiting area, i couldnt have faced it!
She also picked me up from hospital, the nearest hospital isn't in walking distance and none of my friends drive.
I didnt want work to know, but i suppose its better if they do.

Hey Widgets,

I know you didn't want your work to know but it is good that they know. Now they won't be so annoying lol

My GP said I must tell any employer now that I have BP as its an official diagnosis. Which sucks but I have a soon to be job!

I will be working in a tyre factory never ever done that job in my life. But it's only 24 hours a week, working 12 hour shifts plus the pay is brilliant

Think during lol I had a medical for my job and it had to be written down. GP said if I didn't tell them then I can't get special allowances ie extra sick days etc as I wouldn't have told them and then that's with holding info. So I told them in medical and was just asked if I was on meds and what were they. That was about it. I then said to the Personnel Manager that I was BP and he said that wasn't a problem... he even joked that he has a work force of over 1, 000 and has seen everything lol
