can't sleep. I have an appointment with T at 11 (its now 3), I'm supposed to be logging hours on my new CPAP machine, and I'm stressed over a relationship -thinking of ending it once and for all after 6 years, but it will be very difficult- AND having to move and find a job, neiter of which is going quicklly enough for my many-issued mother. She just finds it fun to say things that make no sense and of course she changes her story every time she opens her mouth then ends it with something about how I'm taking too llong to find a job, apartment, how to make that work with 3 kids, etc.! This is when I start getting depressed and freak out. I can't have this much stress and not enough getting done.

OMG, you have so much going on with you right now. Mothers tend to be over-bearing no matter how old we are. When my mom was alive, she hated my husband for some unknown reason and she always tried to get me to move back home with them. She always followed her request by, "You are not going to just sit around here if you move back", meaning I had to find a job and I am on disability. She always sent me mixed messages and it made me very angry.

I have forgiven her for the most part, but it is very hard to forget.

Just take one thing at a time, and I know how difficult it can be with your mom, but just try to let it go into one ear and out the other. That's easier said than done I know, but if you can do this, you will be a lot happier.

Can you tell your mom how she makes you feel?

Here is a ((((HUG)))) for you. I hope things settle down for you quickly.

Moms can be so into your face about everything and I do know how difficult it is because they just do not see what they are doing to you, so you either have to ignore her (very difficult), or tell her to shut up & tell her how she is making you crazy.
