With Your Stress Levels, What is your favorite form of relaxation when you get stressed out.

Mine is putting my Ipod on and tuning out the rest of the world. Music is my passion so it is a great form of relaxation for me.

How about you?

I find music so triggering, but i also love it as well.
I was listening to the 'eye of the tiger,' the other day and managed to get emotional about it.
I find it so hard to distract myself. I usually try and sleep through any unwanted emotions.
I dont have a long attention span, i go on the exercise bike or watch make-up tutorials on youtube, they're the only 2 things i can do at the moment.

It really depends on the amount of stress I'm in.... Sometimes the music soothes me, sometimes when I'm really beeping, it can make me joyous and almost euphoric, then sometimes, like today. My stress level was so bad, my blood pressure skyrocketed and I couldn't listen to any music at all.
I like music not for who it is, or the words, it's how it makes me feel. When I'm really depressed I won't listen to ole sad ballads or country, I listen to rap or something to try to lift my spirits, just something that has a good beat.

I love music too. I play my flute, and just the deep breathing helps. Then I jump on my bike with my Ipod, and I ride 30 km (about 20 miles) as fast as I can. When I get home, I just feel so much better and calmer. I highly recommend exercise to music. It is so therapeutic.

Right Sophia, I also went for a long walk tonight with my Ipod on and feel 100% better.

Exercise releases endorphins in your brain and gives you a sense of well-being.

I watch shows or I take a bath or try to read when I need to relax.
