I am currently on FM LA from work, but I worked full-time, take care of my grandmother and my two teenagers at home, which was too much stress on me. I need to work but I really don't think I could even handle part-time, stress is one my triggers, and some days I can barely get by with just the responsibilities at home. Does anyone have any suggestions???

I have a similar problem. Is there any small business that you could set up from home, perhaps an interest or hobby that can be turned into something to make money?

I crochet when I am in my maniac mode but nothing serious I could earn extra money with. My mother wants me to file disability but to me it's like I'm giving in. So I just don't know. Thanks for the advice I will have to at least try and find something.

Delegate some of the grandma care responsibilities to your teenagers or find some private care for her. Make sure you get enough sleep, take your meds, and start out part time and see how things go. I have a toddler and a husband and I actually find that getting out of the house for 20-25 hours a week helps my sanity. It makes me less frustrated with my son and it gives me structure to my week and a sense of purpose.

I had to take a medical retirement and get on social security(disability). I know what you are going through. Ughhh!

I take the stress, anxiety, and mania and use it my advantage to get as much work done as possible. I'm just lucky that I work at night and most of the time I'm alone. If the boss was here to see the way I do things I don't think he would like it much. But when he comes to work in the morning and sees how much I get done he commends me.
My best suggestion would be to find a job that you enjoy enough that it doesn't stress you out and that you can be your own boss. My dream is to become a self-sufficient farm where its just me and my fields.

When I worked at the State Hospital I was the supervisor on the midnight shift....I had my own unit of 44 inmates. Yep...the work got done. I did midnights because I could not handle the chaos on days and afternoons.
