I am finally able to come to terms and handle my illnesses.

Overcoming a fentanyl addiction.

Doing the best I can everyday, whether it is being able to accomplish one thing or many things a day.

There are many but I have to say my 3 kids.

I was given fentanyl in the ambulance this spring and it took away the pain without any weird side effects like morphine. I'm glad you kicked your addiction. Gotta be difficult. I think BP are more prone to "dual diagnosis".
Thanks for this!

Yeah, I was addicted to fentanyl lollipops. They made me feel so awesome.

I was also a very heavy drinker and coke head before I was put on meds. so I am proud of myself for giving up the coke. I still drink once in a while, but have a much better handle on it.

I must've felt really crappy then because all I felt was normal. As if a switch had been turned from "omg this sucks" to "Oh- I'm suddenly ok again".
Thanks for this!

getting my bachelor degree and working on master's

learning English on the level that I can write poetry in it. Or a 60 page analysis of relgion and its effects on American voting.

Not being trampled by the world, but remaining myself. keeping my idealism despite everything. But being realistic enough to survive.

Anika, the things you mentioned were really brave things to do and they are something that should be proud of. I don't know if I could ever do what you did and be okay.

I am so proud of you.
