Just sitting around waiting for my hubby to finish an evening shift and come home and I was wondering whether you found it easier to control your BP symptoms when you were alone or with other people. I'm much better when I'm around other peoPle but still need time alone to refresh my mind and rejuvenate.

I hide it better around other people... Does that count?

Other than that, stopping by to say hi Blackpup! Yup, I'm up on the other side of the planet. Worked this night till 4 am. Home now and winding down. (Hey, 4 am isn't bad. At least it's still dark out...)

It depends on who the people are, and how supportive they can be.

I am better around people. Depending. When I am alone I have too much time to think.

I feel I do better when I am alone. My symptoms seem to flare up when I'm around people.

Definitely with me, I cannot hide it from people. I do better when I am alone because I don't have anyone to talk to and when I am around people, since I am always on the hypo side, I talk their ears off, and my speech is very pressured.

As with Innerzone - I hide it better around people, but I just have an urge to be alone so I can stop hiding and just drown in it. My biggest meltdowns have always been on my own; it's like I hold so much in that I can just let go and it's a bit of a tidal wave. But it's very lonely; I want to be alone but I also want someone to understand and make it go away, or at least stay with me until it passes.
Thanks for this!

it depends. I sometimes need to be alone... but sometimes being around people helps.

It's a bit of both. I hide it well around most people but it can also make me manic too being around people.

I do like my own company but when left to my own devices I can become manic very easily.
