I went to work as usual. Started at 2. But almost immediately felt weird. I'd been having the hallucinations I mentioned, and the unstable gait, but this was really weird. I felt sedated and buzzy inside and HOT! No sweating. I was panting just to get rid of excess heat. I wasn't thirsty but kept drinking glass after glass of cold water. Finally after 2 hours, I went to my boss and told him how I was feeling- a bit faint too from this, now I think about it. He said to go sit down. I called my pdoc. another dr called back. Said we might have to do antipsychotics again. But check lithium in the morning. So boss said to go home. But then said he didn't want me to drive! (Liability I'm sure.) So I called a friend to drive the 20 miles to get me. By that time, I'd talked with my T also. She said I need to ramp down. Just rest. So I have a record on as I type. Then the other boss was checking up on me! I was staring out the window at me and my friend, as we were discussing if I should just have him follow me home. Twice, I looked over and saw him in the window, and twice he darted out to the side like a spider in a web! So I get my lithium level checked tomorrow morning and they'll go from there. I'm SOOOOO exhausted. I'm exhausted when I am awake. I feel that way now but at least I'm clean and took an ativan and have nice music on. So we'll see what happens tomorrow at work. My T said I've been running from thing to thing nonstop and that's not good for BPs. I feel I HAVE to do that to get the things done I need to. I've only worked there for 4 weeks as a temp. I'm afraid they'll fire me, but it feels SOOOO good to get to relax!

Glad you got some sleep, when needed it can really be a blessing.
Try not to worry about later, just try & enjoy your peaceful morning.
Take one minute, hour, day, week, ect. at a time.
Keep us posted.

I think I'm just plain exhausted and having BP symptoms. We'll see what the lithium level says shortly.
