...I'm just wondering...Since my best uni work has been a result of at least mild hypomania, and my admission to the course I'm doing now was based on samples of that work...Can it be that it's true what the dark side of my head is telling me, that I'm not good enough to do it? That any previous success was circumstantial and well, chemical..?!
I swear negative thinking becomes cleverer every time it comes back...

Studying can be hard when your meds are not quite right - often they can slow down your thinking and make things harder and depression and meds can cause memory loss BUT I think that you can definitely get through your uni course and be better off with the balanced moods rather than hypomanias. The hypomanias make you feel better about yourself but the good things about you are there all the time, you just feel differently about them... you can do it!!!!
