Wouldn't constant slight hypomania become the new "flat"? Then researchers would look for the next level, and the next...it would be much like the med tweaking we go through now. People become used to what they live every day.

I'd like to go for a range of mood balance with room for emotions. I don't consider my moods my emotions. For me they're very different. My emotions are locked up inside. I am working with my T on that. My moods get the upper hand sometimes and they run me. I am working with my pdoc on that.
