I got out of the hospital last monday(suicidle thoughts)and since I came home I have been allmost completly alone and its driving me crazy. No I don't need a babysitter but I do wish that someone would say that they care enough to come see me my hubby comes home every night and sits and talks to me about whatever but about nothing. Its just me the dogs and the computer all day every day. My memory is not so good so I keep forgeting things like taking my meds wich is what lead to my hospital stay.I don't want to go back there. But why should I care about everyone else and there problems and they don't care about mine. Sorry for the rant not even sure there is a question in there as I forget things as soon as I type them. Just needed to get it out of my brain, but its still not gone!!!!

Maybe you & hubby could come up with some sort of Med-Minder. If you're at all like me, getting meds regularly & properly is a foundation. Once that's in place, other things may look up.

Who are your dog friends? Do you do things with them? What do you do on the computer? Can you go out, have a car, drive?

Sorry about all the questions, but I don't know much about you. I'm glad you're on line to PC. I hope that helps you feel a little less alone. It's a pretty busy place most of the time.

I have 3 dogs a chiuhaha/dashaund ,a daushaund, and a pitt/boxer I am currently training my pitt/boxer to obey simple commands she is doing really well with it even though she is still a bit aggressive. We are down to one vehicle so I don't get a chance to go out much.I know that being in the house alot/not around people is a big cause of my deppressive episodes.Oh how i wish for a little mania to get me thru the day.....I rapid cycle so I can go from good to bad in under 3 seconds ...so Im told I dont really remember much as my memory is not good.Im trying to take classes on line from the local college and I do well for the most part that is when I can concentrate sometimes I think I should just give it up its a major cause of stress in my life.and my stress level has direct effect on my moods.Well thats a little bit about me,Ill share more later..maybe.

I understand what you mean about being alone all day with the dogs as I am in the same position. We only have one car right now as well so I am stuck inside most days. Watching tv and surfing the internet gets really boring and I'm starting to resent cleaning this dang house everyday. Hang in there ok? PC is really helpful. You can PM me if you'd like

Is there anywhere you could walk to? Maybe go to a library for a 1/2 hour? Just walk around outside for 5 or 10 minutes? All of these things help me when I am feeling lost and alone. I live in a really rural area and have two dogs. I take them for walks. There is a special bus system for people without transportation that I can use to get into town when necessary. I found it by calling the county courthouse.

Just thought I'd offer up some of the things I do to get out when I can't stand the inside of my own house anymore. I do have a car right now. But when It breaks down I use that bus a lot.

Before I got into a routine of taking my meds, I had to take my meds at times like when I brushed my teeth and I had to turn the bottle upside down to know I took them. If It was right side up and empty then I was in trouble. I worked with my doctor to find a method that was right for me. Now it's a Habit.

I hope you feel better soon.

I have my meds in a medication box so I can easily tell if I have taken them. Also my hubby can check that I am taking them as well so I am accountable to him also.
I hate being stuck at home, so I sympathise with you.

Yeah, I do this too. And take them when my hubby is watching, so he will remember even if I don't. Otherwise I forget if I took them and I sure don't want to double-up on some of this stuff.
