I'm stuck out here, over the road in a truck. I was semi-promised home time for xmas, but those plans fell thru when we backed up with freight. I've been in a mixed state for over 2 weeks and I'm really really really depressed. Often crying again for no reason. I need a huge hug.

Huge hugs go out to you chandler. I am so sorry that you dont get to be home for the holidays and that you have to be in a mixed state on top of it. No fun. I hope that while you are out there on the road, you at least get to catch the view of a few brightly decorated houses to bring you some christmas joy. Maybe grab a piece of pie at a diner to celebrate. Merry Christmas to you. Many more hugs. Kaliope.

Hi Chandler - First of all - Merry Christmas. And sorry that you're not where you wish to be for Christmas. Hopefully there is some way for you to create a pleasant time for yourself - have something good to eat. Hoping for you to soon have that home time. If you're feeling depressed, then I hope that you have some strategies to help alleviate this, so that you can get beyond it, and look forward to happy times. Please take care.

I am so sorry! When you get a break, I hope you can find a diner, as Kaliope suggested. At least then you can visit with people who, although strangers, would probably like Christmas company as well.

My grandmother used to have a vacation home in Maggie Valley! I thought it was odd because she lived in Florida, but vacationed half the year in Maggie Valley, and it was always the time of year that was not favorable for traveling. I remember having to drive in snow to spend one Christmas there.
Thanks for allowing me to remember the "good times" Chandler!

Maybe if you turn this a certain way it "might" look
Like a Christmas tree? Not very artistic here...
Hope you get home real soon, hang in there.

Major hugs for you Chandler. Sorry that your holiday plans fell through. Mixed episodes are dreadful. I really hope you find a way to cope until it passes. I sincerely wish you a Merry Christmas in spite of it all. By the way you aren't alone with the uncontrollable tears, i've had those the last 2 weeks but seem to be coming out of it now. Many blessings to you and remember to take care of yourself and go easy on yourself right now. Much love. DobieLuv

Thank You everyone, your thoughts and prayers are appreciated. I crawled out of my mancave on wheels about 1pm, slowly dragged myself into the Denny's and now eating brunch. Planning on going back to the cave for a nap after my Brunch.

Hello Chandler,

I am not trying to white wash the tomb, or slap a happy face on a
miserable situation.
I have seen in my life, that in times when I should be doing something fun, I
found myself stuck somewhere I didn't want to be, with people I didn't want to
be with; then, because i was open hearted and open to 'it', I met someone that
brightened my life forever by the experience of spending just an hour with them.
Whatever your space of mind, and place, I hope you find this journey
brings you to where you should be in life and greater joy than you have
ever known.
