Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday

I have to decide if I want to stay on this new Medication " Fanap" been on it a month now.

I have sat and gone thru the pros and cons PLUS got my husbands opinion on how I seem to him ..

I havent gotten a big reduction in hallucinations altho Im under tons of stress (finacially and its getting worse) But I am able to sleep at least. im still having rapid cycling but maybe just a very slight decrease ( hopeful )

The main thing is the pros and cons are pretty much even ..... which I have never had happen before ??????? weird !!!.....

I have side effects but nothing I cant tolerate and im thinking maybe I just need more time on the med to get full effect.

I just feel blah from the ups and downs daily.

Glad to see you post. Holidays & winter can be tough, I am in the same boat as you financially & with stress. Hopefully both of us can survive till spring...

Sounds good to me in giving this med more time. Just to sleep is a blessing in itself. Just want you to feel better.

I just wish I knew someone else was actually taking Fanapt or have taken it... I hate the thought of taking "another new medication ( to me ) " At least for right now I know the sideeffects I am dealing with... instead of a whole new set of stuff LOL

I think Kindachaotic is right. Another month or to will give you a better idea of its effectiveness. Good luck with making your decision and with your financial situation.
