I'm married. But my wife and I haven't had relations since my son was born over two years ago.

Anyway, I want to be kind of like Sheldon Cooper from the big bang theory (though I'm not a genius and I'm not socially awkward).

Doesn't make a lot of sense does it .
Hey Aquaman,
I am not trying to play therapist, but are you replacing your need for human intimacy with the internet? Your wife might appreciate having you back for time with her. I am speaking from experience, btw, and as the one who lacked my h's attention, I think it added to my depression.
Anyway, good luck!

I have zero sex interest lately, it's weird for me but I'm fine with it. I think I just have too much else on my mind and it will come back again at some point with the right partner I think. Or I could go all hypo and start humping the couch or the whole town, who knows but I hope not lol, I prefer this way for now.

Oh and I did have the problem on Prozac years ago. That anorgasmia thing, that was depressing...

I am glad to hear that the sexual side effects from Geodon go away once being off of it. My pdoc has finally decided to take me of Geodon and all APs.

I'm embarrassed to bring it up, but I feel absolutely asexual these days. I'm on what seems like a plethora of meds, but one of these is lexapro (known to have sexual side-effects). I've been feeling depressed for quite some time (I have SAD in addition to BP), so the depression might also be affecting my sex drive. I'm a 51 year old male & I'm unable to achieve erections, let alone achieve ejaculation on those rare occasions when I do.

So, is it the meds, the depression, or the onset of age? I just don't know. It's frustrating. I'm not currently in a relationship, so it isn't causing romantic problems, but I miss being able to ejaculate once in a while...it seems to relieve anxiety as much as any of the meds I'm on. Like BlueInanna, my sex drive increases when I'm feeling hypo, but I've not been hypo in a long time (8 months).

So, I'm currently feeling asexual, but I miss feeling sexual. All i'm saying is it's frustrating at this time. I hope the days of hypo return soon, or that I can figure out which of the previously mentioned variables is most responsible for my current condition.

Irish, I am so happy for you. You have suffered enough.
