Since my last hospitalization at the beginning of March I have been having reoccurant nightmares almost every night. Sometimes I have the nightmare two or three times a night. I dream I have a flying sickness that there is no cure for. This sickness is something I will die from. I keep flying into the air and falling to the ground. I fly faster and faster. I fly higher and higher. My body is covered in wounds from getting caught in tree branches and from crashing into buildings. The dreams always end with me flying so high that I die when I crash to the ground and I am jolted awake upon impact. My suicidal impulses have become stronger in the last three years even with medication. I am frightened of this powerful force that seems to be beyond my control sometimes. I am not sure how to stop these nightmares.

I too have been having really bad nightmares over the last couple of weeks. I only manage to get a couple of hours asleep at a time and nearly always have terrible nightmares which involve me being hurt in some way. Sometimes i'm too terrified to go back to sleep. They are not the same nightmares each time but different.

Have you spoken to your T about these dreams??

I am sorry to hear about your nightmares. I know how terrifying they can be. I am afraid to sleep too. I am going to see me T again on Thursday.

Thanks. Would u be able to discuss the nightmares with ur T? Its an awful feeling when ur so tired but too scared to sleep! I can't decide which is worse, having the same nightmare over and over or having different ones! I hope u can find some relief from them soon!!
