Today I dragged myself out of bed and went to see my pdoc about my depression. He told me that my pain med Ultram interfers with antidepressents and he upped my Abilify from 5mg to 10mg. He also told me to make myself get out and do something fun. So I took my daughter and went to the antique mall and spent money. I feel a little bit less depressed but now I feel guilty about spending money.

Im glad you saw your Pdoc ,, at least you know now that pain meds will effect your current meds . IM glad you got out ,, sorry you feel guilty now
 Just be kind to yourself  you have sirgery coming up and hopefully you will be in a good place mentally to tackle a surgery.Good luck ((((( Hugs)))))

I'm glad, too, that you saw your pdoc and got this fixed. The better your mood for surgery, the faster you will heal. When are you scheduled for? If you know, that is...

My surgery is scheduled for next wednesday. He said if all goes well I'll only spend one night in the hospital. Hopefully when I wake up from surgery the numbness in my right arm is gone. He said it should be. I'll have the pain still but this numbness is driving me crazy. Its worse than pain.
