I've been searching the internet for a bipolar fact sheet that I can give my boss. She already knows I was in the hospital for 10 days at Christmas because of suicidal thoughts but doesn't know I'm bipolar.
I work at a company that develops a broad range of industry standards including one for mental health in the workplace so I'm not scared about a job loss due to ignorant company.
At the same time I don't want to give some of the fact sheets that I've found that mention poor judgment etc. I'm trying to find one that mentions creativity and some of the benefits along with some of the challenges of depression like poor concentration etc.

Any ideas?

Take the ones you have found, combine the common entries, add a few of your own, and leave off the poor judgement part. Then hand that it. Explain that it is a conglomeration of several sites, pared down for simplicity. Couldn't hurt...

I like the idea of creating your own list and reference the materials at the bottom of it. This might help get started with some positive aspects in addition to the diagnostic traits that are readily available:

"feeling more achievement, .... set very high, ambitious goals, are sensitive to rewards,"

Good luck!!
