More conflict at work. Doing great at my job and still getting treated like crap. To me, I don't care if you mop Mcdonalds for a living it is never acceptable to swear at / or during speaking to your employees. In the last 2 weeks I have been "mixed", hypomanic.....depressed, ....My biggest support person turned her back on me....depression is spiraling. Med changes... The next thing I know i'm being disciplined at work for doing something right... ITs sunday so I can't call therapist...but I think i need a break so I can slow down this depression and find another job (after all these years at the current one.)
I am almost as alone as someone can be and I just want this drama to stop....

People shouldn't swear at you at work, that's a hostile work environment which they could get in a lot of trouble for. can you do something nurturing for yourself, like a hot bath or something? I hope that maybe you can get good sleep tonight and wake up a little bit rejuvenated. Changing jobs is a big decision, give it time to think about it.

(((HL))) to someone you mean the world. Just remember that. Keep strong and listen to your therapist.
We have a right to take it easy just like someone who has the flu. Look after yourself

My boss does the same thing, but add on top of it that he throws things at walls or kicks stuff around (work at a steel shop). I think he has some issues himself but don't judge a book by its cover. But I know how you feel. Its a really demotivating situation cause for me personally, I just want to get out of the shop and stay away till he calms down but I don't know if he ever does, he just goes back to his office and doesn't come back down the rest of the day.

Anyways,

I hope you can find a new job that isn't like the one that you have now. I'm currently looking for a new job as well. Wish you the best of luck in your job hunt.

Keep your chip up! (easier said than down I know)

It's a known fact that when a boss puts on a tie it cuts off the air to his brain and he forgets he was an employee once to, and he still has to answer to someone himself. Empathy goes right out the window. It's not the way things were intended to be.

My job is kinda blue collar...not so much a suit and tie place...a little crazier with a hint of the Soprano's as a management style. There is a lot of good and bad there. Depression and crazy moods just make it harder to keep a clear perspective.

Looking at backup options....trying to find some way to stay where I am and be OK with it...or have a backup plan so if it fails..or If i get mad and quit that I will still have an income.
