Today is not a good day at all. It seems like the smallest things make me upset. My friend is having difficulties in her life. And finally I had had enough of her complaining and told her my true feelings. Now i feel like an *********. That is one thing I struggle with is keeping my mouth shut. But I just get so mad that i can't take it and I just freak. Like its right in front of your face and duh>> I just can't help it. I have to be right, or at least have my say in things> anyone have any advice for me? How do i remember to shut it???

Could you put yourself in her position and remind yourself how it would feel if someone did that to you?

I have learned that when I know my mouth is in high gear to avoid other people .. not the greatest of solutions but its better than me letting my mouth have a free pass.

I have the same problem. I hold things in until I get so angry I let it all out and it usually isn't appropriate for me to say. I wish I knew how to hold it in or let it out appropriately. wish I had an answer for you, but just know you aren't alone.
