I am so angry!

They used to have me on a bunch of meds, none of which worked at all. This was years ago, so I've learned what works for me, but I am so angry right now!

I have BPII, MPD, PTSD. Boyfriend has BPII, PTSD.

I just came back into his life last year. Was out of state and married for over a decade. We used to date. And while I was living my life elsewhere, they put him on all kinds of meds.

The mental health clinic switched his doctor. The doctor upped his zyprexa to 20mg. a day. He was already having some bad side effects like the restless legs, peeing continuously and dry mouth, not really being interested in anything. He used to be a wonderful artist.

Comes time for his prescription refill and the doctor disappears! The pharmacy tried calling, faxing, faxing, to now affect.

He's been off of the zyprexa for about a week now after having been on it for about 4 yrs. He is going through a literal hell!

Vomiting, muscle spasms, cramps, nausea, trouble sleeping, some dizzyness. The poor guy is so sick and exhausted it's not even funny.

I started him on fish oil (zyprexa raised his cholesterol) and vitamin B for his nerves and energy. Have him on a theraputic dose of chamomile but he keeps vomiting. That helped him sleep and helped with the spasms and stuff.

He's been eating more than he used to. Which is good. The zyprexa caused him to lose interest in eating. Caused him to lose interest in a lot of things.

But darn...these symptoms just aren't all gone after a week! And he's bound and determined, after finding out that it causes diabetes to stay off of the stuff.

That doctor should be locked up. I wonder how many more of his patients are going through this kind of pain?

Wow that is just awful. I cant imagine... What a horrible doctor. So sorry he has to go through the withdrawl. Its awful. Can you call his doc and ask for neurotin its an epilepsy drug but also helps with withdrawls too. I took it in rehab while coming off of xanax. It really helped me a lot.

Never heard of it, but the insurance company referred him to private practice doctors that they'll cover. He has to get an appointment. I think right now he went through what I did. He just doesn't trust doctors for prescribing meds now. Feels like a guinea pig.

I'll write down the neurotin and look at the side effects and tell him about it. He doesn't feel that they informed him well on those side effects and he also has a bad heart on top of it! So, I will definitely let him know. He's so sick off and on he doesn't even feel like talking.

Moremi, I just noticed that your are struggling with depression. I started taking 3,000 mg. fish oil and high potency vitamin B complex and it took about three days but I started feeling much better. People can really tell if I'm not taking it.

My doctor was amazed when he saw the difference and he started sharing that information with other patients who have had little success with anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds.

Add that to your tool chest and see how it does.

He just got back from his brothers. We're heading for the emergency room.
