You can't hide the stigma that I am if you are going to raise the standard of normalcy by comparison. Anything else
would be akin to a lie to say that I am OK and live a normal life style. In contrast, I live abnormally and have a paper
trail a mile long that notes that fact, so how am I now going to try and hide the stigma that I am?

To thine own self be true and I am being true to mine own self by keeping a record of mine acts and thoughts on my
Weblog Timeline and mood tracker. Bipolar 1 w/ P I does not sit long in the corner by itself quietly for long. At once
it will raise and shout out rants of glossily verses only it understand.

You should then at once lay your hands upon it and grab the first god you can near by and hit it over the head and
kill it. Once it is dead, drag it outside of the camp and burn it... Then pray to your God that you don't have
bipolar 1 w/ psychotic ideation but the lesser soft-bipolar 2 though depressed as it is, Amen. Psychotic Ideations
are associated with suicidal tendencies and induce ranting about such things...like the way I am starting to do now
and I could for this example, rant about this for hours at a time as an educational tool.

Thousands of people all over America are not ashamed to go to AA and 12 step themselves back to recovery, yet these same people would be afraid
to admit they are bipolar and even admit less they are mentally ill.You can not 12 step bipolar into anything that resembles recovery the way you can
an alcoholic in AA since bipolarity can not be reasoned with and must be attacked head on with medications. I speak from years of experience when I say I was diagnosed with bipolar 1 in 1997 and am a veteran at running through this daily.

I hear too many people talk about thriving with bipolar and doing away without the stigma, but you know, sometimes that just does not work for everyone and I wish more people would educate themselves about the differences between bipolar 2 and bipolar 1, that way we can all be on the same topic level at the same time. When you been on SSI since 1997 from bipolar 1, then there is no way to hide that fact to your friends and if you can't tell them then they are not your friends. As a BP1 w/ psychotic ideations, I have to chose my friends carefully, so they don't trigger any suicidal psychotic tendencies.
