moody universe

hehe...I don't know why I giggle?...but I can assure you it was just briefly in fact I have already forgotten it!

...wandered off passed me by mocked me stared me in the face made me think IT was ok and it really was and it always was in that smell that taste that sound that feeling ....all that I looked at...

lovely fine...serendipitous...perspicacious...full of thought and meaning...but possibly pointless

such an abundance of words are available to the insane brain..mostly extreme perpendicular to reality upright sharp pointing the wrong way but filling in the gaps....lets just blow our minds right up!!

moody universe

I cannot actually add to this without doing more damage so this is just for me

But you need the words, Dubblemonkey, like Paul Newman said in "The Hustler", "Do you need the words?"

And his love responded after having already told him, "You're not a loser; some people live all of their lives and never experience what you've experienced." " Yes", she said, " I need the words very much, and if you ever say them, I'll never let you take them back."

It was all about love.

That may be what it's all ultimately about. The whole magilla...

No, a few of you men don't have the words at the moment, but they're there when it's important. You have the visual art that just flows when the artist in you demands it.

And the words come, too, with the art; I see it very clearly when it happens and wish I had the gift of writers who are able to express feeling almost as if it were a visual thing: as in, "the sea is old, very old--it has been distilled by the sun and kneaded by the moon for (sic)millions of years..."

It doesn't happen often, however. The enjoyment of the gift is to be happy when
it does flow; when it doesn't, the dryness is just preparing the artist for another episode of expression.

If you wonder why you don't have the words at the moment, read Pearl Buck's description of the artist. What you do is demanded of you by your gift. If you don't do it,as Pearl Buck suggests, it's almost as if death were approaching. That's how strong the artist's creativity really is.

I hope you use your visual art gift in your work; it's nice when you can make a living with what you love.

wow gen ...that is ...

exceptional!...seems like a dumb word now!

but the thing is I nearly die everytime I express myself...

when I let this 'thing' out of me the one you call 'creative'...

it nearly kills me because it's hard to stop it it's mania maybe but screw that it's just me it hurts no matter what I do with it

I never found the answer to the pain. I guess it just has to be permitted to escape the mind through the expression of the art until the mind is finally at peace with the gift and lives on in solitude, in one sense.
