I've finally managed to get pregnant YAY!!!!!
I'm only just started 4 1/2 weeks in and a long way to go. Excited and worried at the same time.... but there's still so long till I get to have a scan and see if everything is ok in there.
Any advice will be appreciated as this will be our first

I second that! ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY! You've been great thusfar at managing your stress, continue on that path. If you haven't, start prenatal vitamins, I know it was a comfort to my cousin as she was also very worrisome until her 1st scan.
Relax and CONGRATZ

Congratulations. Try to just sit back and enjoy the experience (and hopefully it will all be enjoyable). It will go by so fast.

Thanks for all your replies

trippin - thanks for your advice - I'm already on folate, iron and a multivitamin
shattered sanity - I change my mind about names most days, today is Hannah or Susannah for a girl and Issac or Joshua for a boy
hamster- I will continue my walks and I'm starting yoga this morning
Blue Poppy- my pdoc has me on meds that are a lower risk for pregnancy - Abilify and tofranil, he has had patients on these before with pregancys and not had a problem.

Congrats!!!!

That's great news!

My best advice during pregnancy is to educate yourself on healthy eating (what to avoid, etc.) Stay active because it keeps your mood up and it also keeps your body in shape for labor. Walking is great or swimming if you can. Make your birth plan but keep the mindset of "healthy happy baby," so know to be flexable. We plan for life, then it messes up our plans. And enjoy every moment of your pregnancy, because it really is a special time like no other.

That's awsome.. I have a one and a half year old.. he's amazing.. the best kid I could ever ask for. You'll do fine, just love him/her with all your heart, teach your baby everything you can think of, and explor his/her world. That's all I can think of
Thanks for this!
