I am getting over my manic episode. Is it too soon to try to find a job? Will I ever be able to properly hold down a job?

I feel so hunted by my mother. She is attempting to destroy me. Guess my paranoia is still here. But I really think its real.
Pdoc is supposed to call back recent dose. I am at the end of the year so my old t used up all my appointments- as usual. Ugh. That leaves me with very few appointments when I need them most! Every ****ing year.

I think the key to a job is finding one that really suits you. One that you can ride out all your cycles in. It's not easy, especially since it's hard to find a job to start with. I think it is best to decide when you feel ready. Try to think if you are still having any mania, especially if you get grandiose thinking. Although I'm really sure mania is what got me through vocational school and into my job now.
I really wish that there was a database of jobs that list companies that are good for people with disabilities.

I still really feel anxious and hunted. They're plotting against me. By friend says they just suck.

Feel hyped up and spacey. Been feeling spacey/high a lot lately. Already got my blood taken today and pdoc is supposed to call me back. Afraid. Afraid to go home. Afraid of being plotted agai st. Afraid to die. Afraid I might need pes. Afraid I want to fall into mania again- psychosis- even on meds.

Need to fly away. My meds don't even sedate me so I don't feel anymore. That one day they did was nice.
Today will be monday night. With the same 2 evil people I live with and am supposed to never speak of harming. I can't help it. If you have harmed me for years yet call it love....?

Oh Moose, I know how you feel.
 I don't live with my dad but I live in a house owned by my dad, and I just want to get out of there. Sometimes I think the "generosity" of family is a mixed blessing and can be hell, too. For example, my aunt lives right next door. Our garage is messy and has been for a few months. A few nights ago she came over and said if we don't get it cleaned up she's going to tell my dad.... it's like... really? We're all adults here, aren't we? So, I know it's hard. But you can't live like that. If getting a job can get you and your kids your own place, that is a good goal.

I'm just wondering ....
And my pdoc called. Said she thinks my lithium is low so until I can get a level I'm to take 3 zyprexa's a night. I said I was paranoid and anxious. The whole idea of moving is gonna kill me and living here is killing me already.

Moving might not be so bad Moose. I don't think ot will be once the time comes. You might feel a huge sense of relief, and freedom. That would be a good thing. When I left my husband I was very scared of living by bymelf, and I was scared of how o would make it on my own.
But after I got my own place and realized how free I felt, and safe. I love it, me and my kids are so much better off then we ever were back then. You'll have a place to call your own, raise your children, and decorate however makesnyou feel happy. It could be a new start.

moving will be good when the time comes, yes. i think you'll love it too. about working, finding something low stress is good, unless you thrive in an active workplace. i prefer low stress personally, and part-time. i can't seem to really work full time hours. hopefully when my kids are older and on their own, that's not gonna happen tho lol.
