Week two is behind me! No more major breakdowns since Tuesday, only minor tears. No other hurt feelings when dealing with bossy coworkers. Now I can be vegetable for two days before it starts all over again. Maybe I will even actually find the energy to go outside and spend some time on my new bicycle. I am trying to avoid some of my destructive behaviors, but my husband and all but one of my children are gone, so who knows what the weekend will be.
Thanks for all of your encouraging words earlier in the week. I don't know what I would do without you guys!

That is wonderful news! It will only get easier with time. Enjoy the weekend. Bicycling sounds like a great idea. I would have joined you but I cannot find my helmet after the move. One day!
Thanks for this!

Yayyayay congrats!

Getting enough sun shine and changing your scenery should help keep you sane. Go to barns and nobels with a book! They cant kick you out for reading!
Thanks for this!

I have an extra helmet. Let's meet halfway. Google says somewhere in Texas!

Bless you. I've dealt with a stressful (multiplied by 10) work environment. I enjoyed my job but not management. I'm glad you didn't have too many symptoms to contend with. I hope ur able to ride ur bike and find other healthy ways to enjoy ur two days off. Check out WRAP (wellness recovery action plan) by Mary Ellen Copeland (not sure if I've suggested it b4).
