I'm a new user and haven't used one of these before, so, sorry if it's weird
I'm also 14 and don't know anything about anything But from about 8-9 I had what I think could be either a panic attack or just a manic episode and I don't know which. I was shaking, crying a little, felt extremely "speeded up", couldn't sit still, tons of thoughts and ideas kinda circling... I'm pretty sure I'm bipolar, like really pretty sure, so I'm assuming it's just that but I'm making sure because it felt sort of like a panic attack, like it hit all at once and then kind of went away Thanks <3 |

Im not sure how long it would have to last to be considered a manic episode but longer that just a few minutes or so. And I have never experienced mania that is like a panic attack because I do have both and there is a very distinct difference. Euphoric mania is a oh so good feeling, sped up feeling where everything is good and Im on top of the world, talking fast, moving fast, thinking fast. Dysphoric mania I am mad, or suicidal, restless. A panick attack I begin to feel like I cant breath and the room is closing in on me. I get a strong feeling like I am going to die, my chest hurts. I have a strong urge to evacuate and get outside immediately no matter where I am,I get dizzy and light headed short of breath. These are just my experiences with the differences in these.

Hello and Welcome,
The first time something happened to me it was similar. I first had a panic attack (shaking, crying, hard to breath etc..). Then I reached out for help and my "OLD" doctors office was refusing to see me. I had a manic episode---I snapped and went off. It sounds like you had a panic attack followed by euphoric mania. I encourage you to seek professional help. And consider speaking to your parents and/or another close family member.
