The doctor said that I need to eat healthier, but I can't get myself to. He said that I need more protein, and just less junk food in general. I cannot seem to get myself to eat less though, I am constantly forgetting that I need to. I can't get myself to do it. And this is making me upset, eating better will help with moods, and my overall health as well. My BMI has been going up a little bit, and I think that's why. Also, because of having more homework lately and the weather changing, I have not been going outside AT ALL. Some days when I am walking home from my bus stop, I would notice how nice it felt to be outside. This would make me want to go on a walk, but I always knew it would be impossible because of school work. I really wish I could just improve these areas, I know it would help.
Hugs from:
Anika.

I know you'll get to it soon enough. Eating healthier has helped my moods considerably its not easy but I still get to enjoy junk food just not as much as usual

Thanks! I just need to be able to remind myself, I can usually get myself to not eat junk food if I can remember not to.

It is hard. Is there a lot of junk food in your home? if there is could you talk to your parents about it. Good healthy eating is good for the whole family, and something you can work on together. Don't be too hard on yourself, cause it is hard. And changes and habits happen slowly, just keep putting the effort in. it takes time to figure out healthier eating pattens, and impliment them.

Being active and outdoors is important for everyone too. Can you try to schedual a little time in for that. You are young, and need to have fun outdoors, so it should be a priority to get some of that in. I know it's hard because life has so many demands, but important to not let lifes demands take over and not allow us time to just live.

I have way too much junk food in my house, maybe my mom could help with this. She knows I should be eating better, the doctor said it right to her face. I will try to get her to help out there. And I could schedule time to get more exercise, I could just do it before homework. That way, I will just be doing my homework when it is dark outside, not right when I get home.
